Crimson - Witch Way Character

This was one of three characters for my Character & Object design final. The assignment consisted of one page for turnarounds, construction, & notes, one page of poses, one page of props, and an optinal extra credit page of expressions. Drawings are done in pencil with some cleanup and linework done in photoshop. This class was the first time I've ever done a character turnaround, and the first time I have successfully drawn the same character more than once. Heavy c/c is welcome in order to help me improve for future projects.

Crimson is Midori's mother and Hyacinth's mentor. Even though she has mastered the magic arts, she is misguided as a person and puts false stock into the superficial. Her motto is, "It doesn't matter how well you do if you don't look good doing it."
